Background
This 1965 Mustang Fastback was originally a silver 289 4 bbl A code car built in San jose California. My Dad and I bought this from the Recycler in the 1990s. I drove this car in College at Cal Poly SLO primer spots and ripped interior. This car was restored in 2006/7 to include an authentic 289 Hi Po engine, beefed suspension, and copied many of the original specification of Carroll Shelby's famous GT350 including the race strips. This car is a kick in the pants to drive and is my favorite to go get coffee and kick tires with other enthusiast.
